My life and work have always centered on one thing: people.

​

For nearly three decades, I have had the privilege of walking alongside women, families, leaders, and organizations through seasons of growth, challenge, rebuilding, and possibility. I am a speaker, writer, certified biblical counselor, certified life coach, nonprofit leader, entrepreneur, and program developer—but beneath the titles, I am the daughter of the Most High God and someone who believes He deeply values my life and moves me to invest in others.

My journey into this work began long before I had language for what it would become. I discovered early that I was drawn to people and their stories—particularly those who had experienced hardship, found themselves overlooked, or needed someone willing to see beyond where they were to what could still be possible. I do not enable; I equip, restore, and uncover treasures. This leads to transformation.

​

In 2000, I founded Proverbs 31:20 Ministries, where I served as Executive Director for twelve years. That season deepened my understanding of what meaningful service requires. It saddened me to close its doors. But its lesson remain with me. Compassion matters, but compassion paired with accountability and practical opportunity can help change the trajectory of a life. People need encouragement, certainly, but they also need tools, relationships, accountability, opportunity, and someone willing to believe that their current circumstances do not have to define their future.

That conviction has followed me throughout my career.

​

Today, I serve as Program Director of a job readiness and life skills development program. I have had the privilege of serving as a primary architect of the initiative, developing and leading a program designed to equip women with the professional, personal, and life skills needed to move toward greater stability and independence. Through job readiness training, workplace experience, life coaching, mentoring, mental health support, and relationships, women are given room not simply to prepare for employment, but to recognize their own capabilities and begin imagining what comes next.

I am a professional treasure hunter—seeking to uncover the potential that hardship has buried. Some of my most meaningful moments happen when a woman begins to see something in herself that she once thought was impossible.

​

My work has also taken me into boardrooms, retreats, churches, workshops, classrooms, counseling conversations, and conference stages. For 27 years, I have spoken and taught on subjects including leadership, identity, relationships, faith, personal development, resilience, and the responsibility we have to steward our influence well.

​

As a certified biblical counselor, my faith is not an addition to the work I do; it is the foundation beneath it. I believe Scripture is trustworthy, that truth and grace belong together, and that genuine transformation reaches deeper than changing circumstances. My desire is never simply to tell someone what to do, but to help people examine what is true, recognize patterns that may be keeping them stuck, and move forward with wisdom, courage, and integrity.

I am also an entrepreneur with a particular heart for using business as a vehicle for good. Through Unveil It Bridal Veils and the Brides for Justice movement, I have brought together my love of beauty and my commitment to fighting sex trafficking. A portion of each purchase helps support organizations doing meaningful work on behalf of victims and survivors. That vision includes The Unveil It Fund, a nonprofit created as a funding vehicle to invest in efforts that bring protection, restoration, advocacy, and hope to those impacted by trafficking.

I believe beautiful things can serve more than superficial purposes. When paired with purpose, they make the world better.

​

Writing has been another constant thread throughout my life. Whether I am developing curriculum, writing articles, preparing a message, or working on my book, words give me a way to explore the intersection between faith and ordinary life. I am especially interested in what happens when the pieces of our stories don't unfold as expected—and how God can use even the broken, discarded, or seemingly wasted pieces for purposes far beyond our understanding.

That belief is deeply personal.

​

My own story includes wonderful chapters as well as painful ones. I have experienced love and loss, motherhood and grandmotherhood, marriage and divorce, ministry successes and disappointments, beginnings I welcomed and endings I never anticipated. Those experiences have changed me, but they have also reinforced something I have spent years teaching others: an ending does not get to write the meaning of an entire story.

​

At this stage of my life, I am increasingly interested in legacy—not legacy in the sense of being remembered, but in considering what we leave behind to benefit others. Those I serve will matter long after I am gone.

​

I want my children and grandchildren to know what mattered to me. I want the women I serve to become women who invest in someone else. I want organizations I help build to continue creating opportunities long after my particular role has ended. I want my businesses to demonstrate that generosity, purpose, and good business can occupy the same space.

​

And above everything else, I want my life to reflect the Jesus I love and follow.

​

It is a collection of the things I care about—and an invitation to see what we might do with the life, influence, opportunities, and stories we have been given.
